American Roofing was brought on to install the complete building envelope for Whiskey House, a new construction commercial project in Kentucky. As a full envelope scope, the crew handled everything from the roofing system to the exterior metal wall panels and the beautiful ACM panels.

On the roofing side, the team installed two layers of ISO insulation with tapered ISO for positive drainage, set over a wood fiber cover board. A 60 mil PVC membrane was applied across the field and at the wall and curb transitions, using a combination of mechanical attachment and full adhesion depending on the area. Detail work included wood nailer installation, curb flashing at multiple sizes, drain and pipe penetration flashing, edge metal, coping, counter flashing, gutters, and downspouts.

The exterior wall scope included an Alucobond ACM panel system built on its own sub framing with insulation behind it, a separate metal wall panel system with corrugated panel sections tied into hat channel and z girt sub framing, and a tower wall panel system with its own sub framing and trim. Each metal system was fabricated and installed as part of the same envelope package as the roof.
