Project Overview

Following a hail storm, this historic home sustained damage to both its original slate roofing and copper roofing components. American Roofing & Metal Company’s crew removed the damaged slate and copper before beginning the replacement system.

In place of the original slate, an EcoStar synthetic slate roof system was installed, paired with 16 oz. copper cornice lining, copper standing seam, and copper flat lock detailing on the dormers and accent areas. The synthetic slate preserved the historic character of the home’s roofline while offering a more cost-effective alternative to natural slate for the homeowner.
