Project Overview

After suffering hail damage to her roof, this Kentucky homeowner needed a full roof replacement but wasn’t sure where to start. American Roofing & Metal worked directly with her and her insurance company throughout the claims process, guiding her through every step to ensure she received a quality, fully-covered roof replacement without the stress of managing it alone.

Our crew fabricated and installed a custom 24 gauge standing seam metal roof system, built to withstand future hail and severe weather while providing decades of durable protection. We also installed a new custom chimney cap to match the updated roofline and prevent water intrusion at one of a roof’s most common leak points.

To round out the project, our team identified an opportunity to improve the home’s existing gutters by installing a gutter protection system designed to prevent leaves and debris from clogging the gutters – reducing future maintenance and helping protect the home’s foundation and siding from water overflow.

As a GAF Master Elite roofing contractor serving homeowners throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana, American Roofing & Metal specializes in standing seam metal roofing, insurance claim roof replacements, and storm damage restoration for residential and commercial properties alike.

Approximately 4 years ago, American Roofing put on a metal roof for our home. Because of hail damage over a year ago the roof was deemed damaged. I contacted the company and spoke with George Hart. He was very informative and helpful getting through the insurance claim process and getting the job scheduled. Mark Hardin was the foreman on my job. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the whole process of removing the old roof and putting on the new one. He treated me very kindly and with respect. Mark was very active in supervising the project and making sure attention to detail was the priority. He kept me informed all along the way. The roofing crew was equally proficient in all their work. These men were very respectful and thoughtful. They worked long, hot hours – some of the hottest weather so far this year. They were concerned about doing quality work! They all worked extremely hard and with great skill to complete my new roof! As a widow, sometimes projects like these can be intimidating. I have to trust and rely on the people who are supervising and those who are doing the work to do the right thing. After one day onsite, I knew that I could trust and rely on Mark and all the men on the crew. I didn't have to be concerned about whether or not the right things were being done. I am thankful for Mark and the crew. Barbara McClelland, Homeowner
