Beck Residence Copper Standing Seam Metal Roof
Project Overview
American Roofing and Metal fabricated and installed a custom 16 oz standing seam copper roof system for this residence, covering both the home’s main roofline and its lower wraparound porch roof for a cohesive, high-end finish from every angle. The standing seam metal panels were fabricated to fit the home’s dormer window and varied rooflines precisely, delivering the tight seams and clean, uniform look that standing seam roofing is known for.
To complete the copper detailing, our crew installed new 18 oz copper half-round gutters and matching copper round downspouts along the home’s exterior, along with custom copper rain chains in select downspout locations. Over time, this copper will develop a natural weathered patina, deepening from its bright copper tone to a warm brown and eventually a soft verdigris – a hallmark of quality copper roofing and gutter systems that only improves with age.
The result is a standing seam metal roof and copper roofing system built to complement the home’s craftsman-style architecture, stone foundation, and covered porch, providing decades of weather protection along with lasting curb appeal.
